The Scally Cap Directory is a free, independent editorial publication. By browsing it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site.

Editorial content is opinion

Write-ups, recommendations, sizing advice and style guidance on this site are our own editorial judgement, offered in good faith. They are not professional advice, and they are not a guarantee about any product. Construction, cloth, sizing and availability all change without notice at the makers we cover.

We check entries by hand and correct errors quickly when they are pointed out, but we cannot promise that everything here is accurate or current at the moment you read it.

We do not sell caps

No transaction happens on this site. Every purchase is made with the maker or retailer you click through to, on their terms, with their pricing, shipping, duties, returns and warranty. Any dispute about an order is between you and that seller. We are not a party to it and we cannot arbitrate it.

Outbound links

We link to third-party websites throughout the directory. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their availability, or their handling of your data. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the site it points to.

Some outbound links may be affiliate links, in which case we may earn a commission if you buy. Affiliate status never affects whether a maker is listed or what we say about them, and it never costs you anything extra.

Advertising

This site carries third-party display advertising. Advertisements are selected by the ad network, not by us, and their presence is not an endorsement. Editorial placement in the directory is never for sale.

Intellectual property

The written editorial content, guides, glossary and page design on this site are ours. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back; please do not republish whole pages or feed the directory wholesale into another product.

Maker names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are shown here for identification in an editorial context. If you own a mark and want its use here changed or removed, email us and we will act on it.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from anything you buy from a third party you found through it.
